Venetian Carnival

The main idea is to create the atmosphere of a majestic and mysterious Venetian Carnival — with its grand masks, lavish costumes, and play of light and shadow. The evening is filled with mystery, celebration, and luxury, where every guest becomes part of a theatrical show, concealing their identity behind a mystical mask and immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a true masquerade ball.

Party tagline: “The mask conceals secrets, but the carnival night will reveal them all.”

Event Structure

1. Guest Arrival: “The Mask Will Reveal Your True Self”

Guests are greeted by characters in Venetian Carnival costumes:

  • Grand masks, luxurious outfits, feathers, pearl jewelry
  • Mystical characters in roles: the Sages, the Masters, the Benefactors (all masked)
  • The MC, dressed as a Count or Countess, introduces the atmosphere of the evening

Upon arrival, guests receive masks (or can choose one on-site in a dedicated zone) to conceal their identity and become part of the carnival.

Theme: mystery and intrigue.

2. Opening: “The Veil of Secrets”

Once all guests have gathered, the MC announces the beginning of the carnival:

The MC explains that tonight everyone conceals their faces, and the carnival gives each person a chance to become someone else. He invites guests to join the Dance of Masks.

  • A musical number with a ballet ensemble begins gracefully, as costumed performers dance a waltz, creating the atmosphere of a palace ball.

3. Main Program Blocks

Block 1: Theatrical Performance

The evening features mini-performances in the style of Venetian theater:
  • A masquerade ball of characters, with leading roles played by majestic Venetian ladies and gentlemen
  • Musical acts: an ensemble performs classical music, alternating between waltz, Renaissance, and Baroque compositions
  • Carnival flash mob: guests join in a dance, following the lead performers

Block 2: Masks, Identities & Interactives

Every mask conceals an identity, and so:
  • Best carnival outfit and best mask competition: guests showcase their attire, and the hosts select the winners
  • Interactive: “Dance of the Masks” — guests follow the MC through dance moves with elements of improvisation
  • Game: “Who Am I?” — guests style their masks in a mysterious way, while the MC and performers ask them questions they must answer in code

Block 3: The Venetian Ball

The final part of the evening — a Venetian ball with all guests:
  • Performers dance a waltz on stage
  • All guests join the ball
  • The focus is on classical music, including modern arrangements, with elements of ballet and theater

4. Carnival-Style Dinner

  • A Venetian dinner featuring seafood, cheeses, and traditional dishes, including “Carnival Pasta,” “Venetian Antipasti,” and, of course, wine served in Venetian-style glasses
  • Signature cocktails: “Princess of Venice” and “The Count’s Wine”

5. Awards Block

  • The best masks and best costumes receive commemorative gifts, such as:
  • Souvenir masks
  • Venetian coins
  • Gift certificates

6. Closing: Dancing & Photo Session

  • The finale of the evening transitions into a dance segment with modern music. Guests can enjoy one last photo session in their masks and costumes.
  • Closing act — the unmasking: all guests remove their masks, and the MC announces all the heroes of the carnival.
